First, they worked on a web quest through a genially to find out about different aspects of the country.
Then, they studied an extract of a blog about a family’s trip to South Africa. They could locate the main cities on a map, discovered the ’Big 5’ and all the activities you can enjoy in South Africa.

The second part of the sequence was related to history : Who was Nelson Mandela ? What was Apartheid ? And watch some excerpts from Invictus.

Their final project was to create a blog about what they did during their 4-day stay in South Africa. They could choose between 3 destinations : Johannesburg, Durban or Cape Town.
